Welcome Home Christian!

The last couple of days have been exciting. Mary’s water broke on Tuesday morning so we called Mom-Boston up and she came down to watch Madeline. We kissed the kid goodbye and then we were off…to the movies. 
In an attempt to kill some time and avoid being hooked up to the monitors and stuff we went and saw Blades of Glory and walked around the mall for a while. Eventually we checked in to the hospital, Mary labored for 13 hours, pushed for 3 and then finally our boy Christian David Boston was here. It was a lot of hard work but Mary did an amazing job.
Afterwards Mom-Boston and Faressa brought Maddie to see Christian. We tried to sleep a bit and now we’re home. Here are the stats:
- Christian David Boston
- Born 4/18/07 at 10:25 AM, 3 days after his sister’s first birthday
- 7 pounds 1.9 ounces
- 20 inches long
- Long fingers, perfect for shredding on the guitar

Hey you guys…congratulations! We are so happy for you both, and so pleased that you were able to carry out a natural birth as you have imagined!! I can’t believe maddie is already one, time flys! Glad you could use that little car seat again….keep the pictures coming, Christian is a beautiful baby! We miss you guys, take care!

@Lauren: Thank you so much! Yeah I think Mary is so proud to have done it as natural as possible. She really did such a great job.
That car seat sure has been great. I think we’ll use it for a couple more babies
I hope all is well with you guys. We really miss you too; wish we could see you again!
