Sports Buzz: De La Hoya/Mayweather Rematch

I’m not a big sports fan but I do know that a rematch between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather is a big deal. In their last match Mayweather won by split decision. A lot of folks are upset about it. I watched the whole match (on YouTube, of course) and didn’t see anything very notable on either side–they’re a pretty good match. So maybe we’ll get some resolve this time around; maybe we’ll find out who the better fighter actually is.
Like I mentioned before, sports really aren’t my thing, but I always think about get-togethers when I think about a big boxing event (or the Super Bowl for that matter). It always seems like a fun idea to get a bunch of guys to go in on Pay Per View (PPV) for a big match and it’s a good way to get some time with your neighbors too. What do you think? Are you waiting to buy your Mayweather vs De La Hoya tickets? Going to watch it on PPV? Not a fan of boxing? Let me know.

I like pretty much anything when it includes large crowds of people! And um watching two half naked, muscular, sweaty guys, demonstrating their strength….not really my kind of thing. lol
